In the recent past in Sri Lanka, the Tsunami which broke out on 26'" December 2004 struck our country to a devastated situation and lost about 40,000 lives and large number of people became refugees.
At a catastrophe situation it is the duty of the people to support and assist the less fortunate. We are sure you would have already done the needful. However, we know that we have much more to do to our fellow citizens than weeping over the situation.
Therefore, we urge you to contribute to the maximum for this national service.
